ahh you can't blame alkaline trio for mixing it up a bit, sometimes you gotta keep it fresh, but yeah i can see why this song would be hard to accept, but luckily for me i don't mind it. The "whoa"s don't bother me that much, it's a punk rock thing, Trio have punk background, so let them do a "whoa" every now and then. fuck. and last time i checked AFI don't own the copyrights to "whoa" haha. |

Beth, you're not wrong, but if you read what phrasethatpays posted, you'll see that we've already established that this song is about suicide. but with a deeper meaning than it just being about suicide as a whole,
it's a sad song, I love the acoustic version best, but both versions are solid. gotta love Alkaline Trio. |

This is my favourite song on the album. The drums are amazing. And I believe it is about night tremors, and all the different things that the night tremors brought on him. So he decided to not sleep anymore, and people feel bad for him. but he dosn't mind the insomnia because it stops the tremors, but he misses his dreams. |

I never thought about it as about Religion, but it does make alot of sence. Because your family and friends could tell you how to live your life, but they don't tell you the meaning of life. Where as different religions seem to have different idears. So Dexter is all "Sorry man, I'd rather find out by myself". |
