I heard this song on Rock Star:Supernova and loved it. Basically, the song is about a person that has gone out of there way for a person they call their "friend." But it's pretty obvious that supposed "friend" is just using the other person for there own personal gain, praising him when he does well and calling him weak when he doesn't. He knows that he's just being used and taken for granted, but this means everything to him. When he starts streesing out or going a little over the edge, probably due to a faliure of a deed the "friend" asked him to do, he just wants his friend to be there and not leave him. This friend is his Kryptonite (weakness), but he can't live without it in his mind. |

I just love this song. I heard it on the radio one day and it just stuck. I believe that this song is about a person who just can't get over a ship. For the other person its over, but not for them. They'll never surrender their feelings, but that doesn't mean that they're going to brodcast it to the world. They keep it a secret and when they see their loved one they just keep their lips shut, but that doesnt mean the feelings aren't there. |
