| Weird Al Yankovic – Smells Like Nirvana Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| You just spelled "wipe" wrong. And it IS sound. Listen closely. And, please, make sure you're absolutely correct before posting to refrain from looking like a douche bag. | |
| Nirvana – Been a Son Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Anyone who thinks Kurt didn't kill himself needs to read "Heavier Than Heaven." And if you still think he didn't kill himself after reading that, then you're retarded, so your opinion doesn't even matter. | |
| Nirvana – All Apologies Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
-This song was deliberately placed last on the last album they would release before Kurt finally killed himself. He's taking the blame for all the trouble he caused and saying he's sorry as part of his final goodbye. See what I wrote about "Heart-Shaped Box." If that's true, then why'd he go on to record "You Know You're Right?" Good thought, but a stretch. |

| Nirvana – The Man Who Sold the World (David Bowie cover) Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
-this is fucking songmeanings.net you fucktards, NOT song ratings, my god. -I think it could be about a sellout. Selling out of the music world. yeah> Like how Nirvana did? I've never heard the Bowie version, but I love the Nirvana version. Great song. |

| Nirvana – Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I love how one person posts a link to a site, then a flame war goes on for five pages. It makes me giggle. Talk about the song. If you believe in God, great. Go find a debate forum. If you don't, keep it to yourself. |

| Nirvana – You Know You're Right Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I wonder if there's a Nirvana version for this song with these lyrics. Personally, I like the way this song looks. But, if there is, I doubt it. Courtney probably likes having her own little version of the song. | |

| The people that wrote the song thought it was hilarious. If they can take a joke, you can to. | |
| Breaking Benjamin – Evil Angel Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I was saying that the verses reminded me of the lives of early Christians... That's not really pro-Christian or anti-Christian since it's all historical facts... But, like somebody else pointed out, Ben isn't a Christian. And I don't think anybody else helps him write songs now that Jeremy's out of the band. Could be wrong, though. | |
| Breaking Benjamin – Evil Angel Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Yeah... My interpretation is a little unorthodox. And it's completely and totally wrong, but it DOES make sense. I think it's about early Christians. Like the disciples and such. "Hold it together, birds of a feather." Back then Christians were being persecuted daily. Best friends were being killed. That's a lot of emotional trauma. "Hold it together." Birds of a feather is simple. They're in the same boat. They believe the same things, and they can be killed for beliving it. "Nothing but lies and crooked wings." Lies and false alleigances. Judas Isacariot? "I have the answer, spreading the cancer." Answer about Messiah. The cancer is their message. Jesus himself said, "I come not to bring peace, but war." He knew what he was speaking would cause unrest. Like a cancer. The correct lyrics are "You are the faith inside of me." Christians believe Jesus lives inside of them. "No, don't, leave me to die here. Help me survive here. Alone, don't, remember. Remeber." The first part is self explanatory. The remembers I don't get. The first chorus sounds like he's worshiping some demon or something. "Open your wings, Evil Angel." Right now, maybe he is. "I'm a believer, nothing could be worse." If you believed in Christ, you're marked for death. Nothing's worse than that. "All these imaginary friends." Again, false alleigances. "Hiding betrayal, driving the nail." Judas hid his betrayal, and that drove the nail into Jesus when he was on the cross. "Hoping to find the savior." Messiah. Jesus. Again, self explanatory, except the surrenders. Maybe don't give up? Keep spreading the Word? I dunno. "Put me to sleep, Evil Angel Open your wings, Evil Angel Fly over me, Evil Angel" Again, sounds like he's worshipping a demon. THEN he says, "Why can't I breathe, Evil Angel?" His loyalty to the demon ended up condemning him. But, like I said, this is wrong. Ben Burnley isn't a Christian. |

| Why waste time saying they're incorrect? If you know the correct version, then post them. If not, be silent. | |
| Breaking Benjamin – No Games Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| It's funny... The original version of the song went "Not for blaming myself" instead of "I've fellated myself." I think I like blaming myself better... Yeah, I just can't bring myself to sing it... lol | |
| Breaking Benjamin – So Cold Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
"Show me how defenseless you really are" He wants his girl to open up to him. "You're so cold..." She keeps her feelings locked away. Not necessarily her feelings for him, but general problems and such. Of course, that doesn't fit in with the rest of the song, but hey. I get credit for trying. |

| Breaking Benjamin – Shallow Bay Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I thought the second verse was about not over-dosing on drugs... "Don't over-kill this painless thrill It's bitter still, your pretty pill You wait until, you've had your fill" Then "lift me up" when he gets high... then the ground gives way and he's all fucked up. And you don't want to mess with him when he's fucked up. : / |

| Breaking Benjamin – Home Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
The lyrics are wrong.... I've got a little red bow And I bought it for you 'Cause I know you're not fair I don't get it, oh well And you color my skin And the colors don't blend 'Cause I'm gonna get you And your little dog too There's a yellow brick road That we follow back home 'Cause I know you can't wait Your belligerent hate There's no place like home There's no place like home Like home! I've, got a southern belle too And ruby red shoes With a body of straw Are you sick of it all? There's a man made of tin With an oil can grin And I'm gonna get you And your little dog too There's a yellow brick road That we follow back home And I know you can't wait Your belligerent hate There's no place like home There's no place like home! There's a little white porch And you wanted it so Can you let me go down To the end of the road In the black and the white A technicolorful life Can I stand by your side? We can make it alright Like home! 'Cause I'm home There's a little white porch And you wanted it so Can you let me go down To the end of the road In the black and the white A technicolorful life Then another arrived It's a cowardly lion What I want from this world What I wanna resolve When I want you to stay So I wash you away I don't wanna be bold! I don't wanna be cold! I don't wanna grow old! I don't wanna go home! |

Best line on the entire album: "You should have learned by now, I'll burn this WHOLE WORLD DOWN!" Love it! |
|
| Breaking Benjamin – Break My Fall Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think it should be noted that the main singer is terrified of flying... Maybe the whispering part is literal... Maybe the song's about flying. You never know. | |
