Rupert says: Bombs was inspired by the bombing done by our government during the Bosnian war coupled with some of the metaethical theories wrtten by Christine Korsgaard(I think that was her name), an American Kantian philosopher. Although I can't remember the stories in the news or the philosophy that well now, the song has a very general, clear message. The tune for the verse is pretty much nicked from Blondie's 'Gloria', which was a hit at the time. |
