well i think this song should be taken pretty litteral... but when he says "Not when he looked so fierce, his mother butted in. If looks could kill it would have been us Instead of him." i find it pretty funyn because if he wouldn't have gone hunting in the first place the tiger would have not even been there... i guess its sort of mocking the mental take of people who hunt for fun.. the attitude people have of me or him when theyre would be no scenario if they hadnt eve ngone in the first place ya know? |

I find that in this song the "narator" (not nesercarily isaac, and probably not, probably just the everyday everyone) seems to be pretty hypocritical hes saying how the world is going to hell sort of and how hes "heading down the road towards tiny cities made of ashes" but then again he does all the things that make this world a tiny city of ashes -violence: "Gonna hit you on the face gonna punch you in your glasses." - its almost as if he plastered a commercial into the song: "So we're drinkin’ drinkin’ drinkin’ drinkin’ coca-coca-cola I can feel it rollin’ right on down Oh right on down my throat" DONT TELL ME THAT THAT COULD NOT BE A COKE COMMERCAL!! come on lol he keeps getting this """"phone call""" but doesnt seem to be doing much about it and the whole t-shirt thing.. also sort of represent the hypocicy to me it sort of represents how everyone whines about this and that that is shity about our world but then either dont do aything about it or actualyl help the shittynessl lol its like..for example some one who is like oh my goodness there is so much pollution going on its terrible whats is going to happen to our world what can we do what can we do what can we do!!!??!!!?!?! and then he goes and throws his cardboard coffe cup on the ground and drives off in his s.u.v.. while still freaking out about the ozone layer |

also for some reason everytime i hear the lyrics "When we die, some sink and some lay But at least I don't see you float away" i imagine like coffins and how when we bury them they either stay there a good damn long time or they get decomposed but they dont float away like come up from their hole and start floating (thanx to gravity) and i imagine a coffin floatin away and how it would disturb me to see someone i know ie like float away... we rather just bury the ones we loved who died than have to be reminded of our death.. so its sorta like saying gravity helps us ""bury"" away our problems instead of living with them...i dunno it jsut makes me think of this |

well i agree with practicaly eberyone here but i find this song is osrta positive about gravity... like its saying how everyone hates gravity and blames it for problems.. "no one realyl cared for it at all, not the gravity plan" but then its sort of like saying well hey gravity actually is a sorta positive thing because it keeps everything in place the whole "when fruit drops....sex and weight" chorus part sort of shows this and the lines "it all will fall, fall right into place" (obviously) show this too... |
