This song is just so beautiful, the Doves are just brilliant! I think this song's about a couple breaking up because one of them has fallen out of love, and their feelings have changed - "Sure enough if you feel nothing You're better off this way Gets to the point where you can't breathe" I think it also talks about remaining true to yourself "You can't escape yourself You can't just fall away" But personally, i find the mood of the song is what really makes this song so awesome. and perfect. |
