Manson has said in interviews prior to the release of Mechanical Animals (Sept 15, 1998) that Disassociative was totally about Special K (Ketamine Hydrochloride) its cat tranquilizer that you snort and it shuts down your nervous system, which is what happens when your body thinks its about to die. Manson said he would lay on a raft in his pool and snort a line of K, and stare at the stars over the Hollywood hills. The effect was a sort of Zero gravity like an astronaut in space. |
