I have to agree. It's such a good rock and roll song at the beginning and at the end, it's a bit cheesy. Still a good song though. |

"...that ... just to say im paid
...that...to get hoes to lay down"
I think it’s
"took a decade just to say I’m paid
took a took a decade to get girls to lay down" |

What does he mean by: "All I do is try to make it simple. The ones that make it complicated never get congratulated."?
To me, it kind of sounds like a contradiction to the whole song.

@ChiHype:
You're an idiot. If you actually listened to Cudi, you would know, as the user above posted, that this song was originally called "I Poke Her Face" on his mixtape Dat Kid From Cleveland. So actually, this song IS labeled correctly, and won't get deleted. Unfortunately, it seems as though your brain wasn't so lucky... |

Also, in "When The President Talks To God" he seems like if he could get to Bush, he'd murder him. In this song, it seems like he's matured, and is ready to fight with words and not actions. |

I think this song and maybe this whole album is a follow-up to "When The President Talks To God." In that song, he seems absolutely livid and disgraced. And with this song, I get the feeling of: "I'm tired of fighting for the lives of our people." I think it's mostly an emotionally-drained song, but I think it also gives a bit of "Told you so" attitude. Just my opinion. |

I think this song is about just standing for something -- having political views and, in general, just getting well-educated. You can relate it to a democratic government. If you're not educated on the issues and if you don't have a stand or point of view, you'll fall for anything a candidate says.
I love this song. It's tied in my mind for the best Jeremy Fisher song with "Drunk On Your Tears" |

I don't know. It's not so much I think it's out of charatcer. It's that O did not have any obscene language, and I feel that album had more emotion. I mean, I'd much rather listen to a song where I can feel the emotion, than a song that i can feel the emotion of but every five seconds he's screaming "fuck you!" I just think it's lame. This song isn't one of my favourites. In my opinion, O was a much better album alltogether. But i own 'em all, and can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve next! |

I believe this is is a song about changing. But i don't feel that he hates it. His voice speaks of a kind of frustration. Beautiful song. |
