Oh come on, not one comment on this brilliant song? I know it's not original, but what an arrangement. So rich and dense, if this doesnt' get you out of you chair nothing will. Highlight of the album. |

i've actually met prudence - she was my english lit professor at uc berkeley. of course i didn't know it at the time, but word got around after i had finished her course. she is the most courteous, gentle, and unassuming person you could meet, i never would have dreamed a song would have been written about her by the beatles. she was so kind in fact i think it adversely affected her ability to be a good teacher - she just gave everyone an a for showing up! but hey i'm not complaining. ok this post is way off topic now i'll shut up. |
