I never understood the part: If Jesus Christ is true/ then I am mostly lies/ if Jesus Christ is Love/ then I have failed to try/ if Jesus Christ is Life/ then please just let me die/ let...this...die... What does this exactly mean? I probably sound dumb to those who know what it means but when they say that, it doesn't sound very religious. "If jesus christ is love then i have failed to try" Does he not want us to love Jesus? "If Jesus Christ is true, then I am mostly lies" This sounds very hypocritical, like if Jesus is true, then everything he's been preaching is a lie. I'm probably completely off-base, but what is it supposed to be? |
