tupac only had one verse in this song but its really strong. To me its about tupacs own heartache and desperation and ultimate defiance of his enemies in the rap game but also the media who were potraying different to who he really was. To me he virtually aknowledges his true feeling for his enemies and its not one of violence. Listen to the live version cause the beat gives it a whole new feel to it and one in my opinion that works better

i love the last verse on the video for this song which is different from the audio. Truly that should be made the offical version and the whole song takes on a new meaning after the last verse of the video |

This has to be one of Pacs best songs and really eerie in both the beat and the lyrics. All of 2pacs songs are complex to understand because they always seem to contradict each other. I think this is a song about tupac embracing his death and an acceptance of his demise this was written in the late summer of 96 and he seemed to know his death was imminent. The lyrics are so scary because they show an insight to tupac when he was in his most paranoid state where we see his most disturbing thoughts. I can see why people think this song indicates his alive but i think its more tupac knowing he was going to die and potraying an immortality through his music |
