| Radiohead – Karma Police Lyrics

2 be honest i dont see this song as beeing about people who deserve karma, i see it more a snitchy kind of character who cannot face tht ppl are different from him, so he trys to have the karma police after them when he has rediculous claims to why they deserve karma
the 'this is what u get bit' is clearly the karma police talking. maybe to the people the person in the first verse is talkin about or maybe to the person in the first verse himself?
the second verse is a conversation betwen the karma police and one of there victims,
ive given all i can
karma police dont think thats enough
but ive given all i can!
but ur still on the payroll
for a minute there a lost myself!
a desperate last plead to the karma police to spare them
i personally dont c the karma police as nice figures and dont neccasirly always deal justice 2 thos who deserve it |

| John Lennon – Imagine Lyrics

john lennon was difenitley not the most talented of the beatles, his solo corrier was very 'wishy washy' full of naive images of a perfect and lovely life(especially Double Fantasy). Most people agreed this when his music was released but when he was shot he was immoratlized and so was his music. John then became the greatest out of the beatles leaving paul, ringo and george to live in his shadow. If it was paul who was killed he would of been cast in iron as a brilliant song writer and not given a chance to do all those terrible songs like frog sympthony or whatever it was called. Whilst John Lennon would become even more wishy washy.
Just because he's dead. Saddest thing is george harrision died and was no where near as immortalized as Lennon. You have no idea how many people i've meet who call George 'the one who everyone forgets'. |

i love it, in a live video of this song being peformed during the
March!
Company, halt!
Present arms! part. Jim stands to attention and Rob Krieger hold his guitar up like a gun and strikes a cord on his guitar like a gun shot and jim falls to the floor and carries on the rest of the song from the stage floor. brilliant my favourite piece of live footage. |

| The Beatles – The Fool on the Hill Lyrics

this song to me seems like he's talking about himself, Mccartney is definitely not the most popular beatle and it really pisses me off when people talk about him as a untalented sidekick to john lennon, even some beatles fans.
he was very imaginative but sometimes is songs were his own worst enemy, like he'd think "how can i wright about love this time, or who should i write about now", and that made people think he wasn't a very good song writer as his songs were cleeche.
so this song is like he's talking a bout how he's rubbished and never thought of as being the better out of the beatles.
and it's definitley not about jesus, tho it could be about brian from the life of brian lol |

i love this song. one of my all time favourites. How many songs have been written like this one? about the loneliness of people, people that almost seem invisible to the rest of us. these people were overlooked by other song writers but not by paul.
Also isn't it 'I look at all the lonely people?'
Also isin't it |

i know this song is about that twisted rape thing and shit.
But i preffer to think of it as a humourous story about a guy who hates his parrot and is always trying to kill it, and the parrots is always trying to kill him. |

paul played a bigger part in this song then any of the other beatles. Macca had been experimenting with tape loops with ian sommerville for some time and tommorow never knows was the song he tested them out on. Without paul the song would sound no wear near as phsycaldelic or ground breaking, and johns lyrics are rubbish he coppied most of it from a book. |

how come all the jams songs hae so little posts??
in there time they were the greatest band around!
the song is simple, its about nuculear holocaust "you want more money of cousre i don't mind, to buy nuculear textbooks for atomic crimes" is reffering to the goverment spending the taxpayers money on weapons of mass destruction, and "going underground is talking about how when nuculear war brakes out we will alll have to hide underground from the toxic poisons and the earths surface. |
