| Pulp – Disco 2000 Lyrics | 3 years ago |
| Bloody hell, you are an absolute mongoloid. I'm going to assume you've never really interacted with other people. | |

@[Wargherd:31314] https://www.emptywords.org/SparkMagazine07-95part2.htm You're literally disagreeing with the man who wrote the lyrics. |

| Bruce Dickinson – Tears Of The Dragon Lyrics | 11 years ago |
| What an actual retard. | |
| Bruce Dickinson – Devil on a Hog Lyrics | 12 years ago |
| Those lyrics are almost 100% wrong. | |
| Helloween – Pleasure Drone Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Seems to be continuing the theme in Steel Tormentor of writing a song about a dildo. | |
| Rush – Faithless Lyrics | 15 years ago |
|
"Historians look at the Bible as factual." Definitely not. Theologians maybe, not historians. Anyway, great song - a very simple message that for some reason hasn't reached a few million people. |

| Stevie Wonder – Golden Lady Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Please tell me that was a (shit) joke and you're not actually that thick. Although, "Did someone else wrote the words", suggests to me that my hunch is right. |

| Faith No More – Just A Man Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Jesus, that whole long winded review is absolutely ridiculous. "Man was born to love - Though often he has sought Like Icarus, to fly too high" And what's grammatically wrong with that part exactly? Nothing. I read your taking apart of it and it makes no sense. Just a diatribe of nonsense. I'd love to spend my time pettily tearing into other people's work when I'm wrong anyway, sounds very fulfilling. And it's hard to work out, but is part of your argument against Patton's lyrics actually based on typos on this website? I hardly think he has much control over that, love. |

| Helloween – The Dark Ride Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| To pick you up on a couple of points (well, everything you said actually), Ingo (the original drummer) died 5 years before The Dark Ride was even recorded. And there was also Better Than Raw, which came in between Time Of The Oath and The Dark Ride. | |
| Phil Lynott – Old Town Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Very possibly the best song of all time. | |
| Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| Shit "song" about wanking on a woman's back. Fascinating. | |
| Bruce Dickinson – Headswitch Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I've always been thrown off by the line "Dribbling with come as the volts start to arc through your mind", is that perhaps based on the belief that you're reminded of the good times, as it were, when you die? | |
| Judas Priest – Beyond The Realms Of Death Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I always interpreted the lyrics as being about someone being in a vegetative/catatonic state. | |
| Judas Priest – Before The Dawn Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
My interpretation of the song is that it's about a person dreaming of someone they loved who has died, and the lyrics to the song are from the words of the deceased's spirit. "Don't let the morning take him" supports it, because come morning they'll be gone again. Feel free to chop it down if you like, but that's what the lyrics mean to me. |

| Death – Flesh And The Power It Holds Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Even though I'm sure the song IS about human desires and the dangers that come with it, I've always felt that could also be interpreted as AIDS or another disease. Especially when you look at lines like: "Passion is a poison laced with pleasure bitter sweet One of many faces that hide deep beneath" and "Like a wind Upon your face You can't see it but you know it's there When beauty shows It's ugly face Just be prepared" |

Yeah, not much to it really. The title explains it all. Some of melodies remind me of Auld Lang Syne. |

| Ben Folds Five – Hospital Song Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Such a great song... Does anyone else think it sounds like Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds? | |
| Ben Folds – Gone Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I've always loved this song, and the great 50's sound to it. Not much to say about it, it's obviously about a guy who's just taking too long to get over a girl. The whole first verse really tells the story... After a year he's finally come to accept that she's gone. |
