I didn't see this as a christian song before, and it almost ruins it a little bit for me. when the singer says things like "the love of my life," I just think he's feeling very deeply about someone and you can sense that in the music. and maybe the band did intend it to be about a religious topic, but I don't interpret things in that way, I suppose. |

I'm not sure that it's about science, because they're saying "there's a hole in your logic." instead of being logical, it's not working out according to the laws of science, which makes me think Zythe's interpretation is closer to what the band intended. [I hate ayn rand and objectivist philosophy with a passion, by the way.] |

as for the comments above, it's called an influence for a reason!! the hoosiers are great.
anyways, I think someone should actually discuss the meaning of this song. does anyone have any ideas? I don't know if they're trying to make a metaphor with this, but I can't figure it out just yet. help? :) |

p.s. I discovered this song after watching "jizz in my pants" HAHAHA because it's directed by the same person; a lot of WAS videos are. I am also disappointed this was in nick & norah's infinite playlist . . as were songs by bishop allen, which I have been a fan of for literally 5 years. |

it seems to me like it's talking about life. they're saying how they're exactly where they want to be, and they don't want to leave this time in their lives. there's always hope that the next part of their lives will be the same, but they're unsure since this part is winding down. |

this song makes me cry for no reason, not out of happiness or sadness, but just out of appreciation. it's moving for a reason that I don't know. I'm not contributing anything to the meaning of the song [I think everyone got it up there], but I really, really love this song. it's been on repeat for three days. woo! |

i don't think it's about god.
i think it's a beautiful song telling about someone who has suffered through a failing relationship with a cheating girlfriend "nothing seems to be working . . you see right through me . . HONESTY waits here forever, i've been undone" but has a reason to think optimistically because there must be something better out there "taking it back . . turning around . . glory is waiting" and that every experience in life wisens you "everything changes the colors we see"
just my opinion =] |

i agree with secondchances the most. knowing acceptance, i don't think it's about pure sex, but rather about contradiction and the movement of one phase of a relationship to the next.
my favorite song of theirs, and i love the little major note they put in at "ohh" =] |

| Ludo – Girls on Trampolines Lyrics

This is the epic tale of a bunch of guys who hear that there's a party behind burger king with a bunch of girls on trampolines!
Pretty straight-foward, and it's pretty funny too . . especially the voices of the police officers and how quickly the words are spoken. You have to see the lyrics to fully understand them . . lol |
