I LOVE this song! It really pulls on the heartstrings and his voice, my gosh, it's absolutely gorgeous. The lyrics + music + emotions = great song (and great album while I'm at it) Also, I agree with you all on the meaning. It's pretty self-explanatory: being away from home, from all that you love, but doing something so close to your heart at the same time - tough stuff really, sigh... |

totally agree with preshpearl on this one. i remember when i first heard this song, it was being used by canadian pairs figure skaters and i just thought "wow" ... sade is awesome, this song is amazing, love it! knowing someone is wrong for you, yet still they have that hold over you... great stuff really, at least for song material ;) |

i agree with you on both accounts: a) RM is underrated, and b) the haunting quality of this song. i love it, absolutely love it! it truly seems like two people who care deeply for each other and for whatever reason (both married as suggested) they can't have more, can't have it all... sad, but beautiful all the same. |
