Lostprophets – Lucky You Lyrics 19 years ago
Everyone take into consideration the movie the track is for. Think about Spider Man's charcter.

You know how he just kind of gives up on being who he is. How he falls, and fails just to be normal and be loved. Just to have the life he's always wanted, and is being selfish in that way.

I think this song would fit towards the end when he realizes he's made a mistake, and put everybody's life in danger. Where he finally realizes the gravity of the fall he's taken, but he gets up again and 'dusts himself off'.

In a sense, when spider man becomes normal, he 'watches the world around him take it's toll' and he doesn't do anything about it. But in his little world 'The trees are green again' in that he's made everything right for him. ANd the part about making amends, he kind of does that with Mary - Jane when he finally attends the play. So I think if you've seen the movie, the lyrics fit perfect with it, but they can also have a double meaning in our own lives. That's why I like the song.
Even though it was mean for a movie, we can all interpret it our own ways. So yeh, Ian Watkins tends to write good songs after watching movies. He wrote 'Rooftops' after watching Gardenstate, now didn't he?

Lostprophets – 4 AM Forever Lyrics 19 years ago
It's deffinetly about him and his ex-girlfriend Sian. This is a quote from an interview:

“There are songs like “4:AM Forever” and “Always All Ways” which are about the feelings of coming out of a long term relationship that I wanted to address,” he says. “It was hard. You feel kind of cheesy writing it, but I was like, fuck it, I don’t want to be afraid of being cheesy. I like the fact that I did address those issues, I’m proud I had the balls to do it.”

So, uh, Yeh. I win.

Lostprophets – 4 AM Forever Lyrics 19 years ago
I actually don't believe this song is about someone dying.
As someone pointed out earlier, Ian isn't very metophoric. No where in the song is the word dead even mentioned. I believe it's more of loosing a friend or girlfriend as Nuri said.
If no one noticed, Ian used to wear a ring on his ring finger, the same one an engagment ring would be on...I don't know anything about it. It might just be a ring, I don't know. But he doesn't wear it anymore. So mayeb about a failed marriage or failed engagment. And maybe when he says you'll never know, he means you'll never know how much he loves that persons.

'4 AM and I'm alone'
His 'girlfriend' has left him because he's too involved in his music or for whatever reason.
'4 AM and you are done'
Same reason as above. This 'girlfriend' is fed.
Once more, this is just my opinnion. I don't really think it has to do with death or anything, but it has the greatest melody and it really makesy ou think about things. Its a great song.
