I can't believe no one has commented on this song yet! Wow! For starters, I think that there should be talking marks around the word girlfriend. That's the way I always imagined it. And then it puts it into a whole new light. A girl, called "girlfriend", who would do anything for money? Hooker. All of their songs are about hookers and/or Mexico. Why should this be any different? And I love this song. Just the way that they sing it, it's so funny. No one else ever gets it, but. They never see the humour... |

Mmm definitely screwing over his partner... Kind of ironic, like he's saying that the world is full of stupid people, but he's setting up his partner to get caught, ie the obvious fake alias and the "meeting" where i don't think that they will really meet... and the guns and all... great song, btw. love the guys... |

yeah TLE all the way Mmm, sort of agree with Xwithout.a.soundX...this song is about a place where you can go where no one knoes who you are or what you have done, and no one cares. It is a place to go to start again... Like one of those little lonely places, in the country, where there are a million lost souls.... |
