My boss just quit the job says he's goin out to find blind spots and he'll do it." ----------------- feeling hopeless about life. he lost his faith and is now unable to cope with his feelings of the purpose of life and thus everything is falling apart around him. his boss is feeling similarly and is trying to find "blind spots" to be in so that the "eye" of God cannot reach him because hes lost his faith. ----------------------------- "The 3rd planet is sure that they're being watched by an eye in the sky that can't be stopped. When you get to the promise land your gonna shake that eyes hand." -------------------------------------- obviously the third planet is earth, the majority of people believe in a higher being or a God that is watching over them, and through death you get to meet said God and "shake" his hand. Explaining the faith that the first stanza was about as well -------------------------- Your heart felt good it was drippin' pitch and made of wood. And your hands and knees felt cold and wet on the grass to me. Well, outside naked, shiverin' looking blue, from the cold sunlight that's reflected off the moon. And that's how the world will end." -------------------------------------- I'm not sure what the pitch part means but I take this as an Adam and Eve reference. (cum is NOT sperm this is NOT about a dead baby), Adam and eve first felt at one with God, im assuming that's god's heart and its bursting with love for them and they feel it, however they lost their favor with God and are flung into feeling the coldness of the grass and shivering, realizing theyre naked, in the moonlight. angels are all around them reminding them they used to be one with God and now they are not, they are just two. The "two" could also jsut mean humanity and we are constantly reminded by faith in angels that we are not one with God any longer but we strive to be. adam and eve is how the world began, they are no longer one with god, and "this is how the world will end" means that humanity will never become one with god again and teh world will end like that. ----------------------------------- A 3rd had just been made and we were swimming in the water didn't know then was it a son was it a daughter. When it occurred to me that the animals are swimming around in the water in the oceans in our bodies and another had been found another ocean on the planet given that our blood is just like the Atlantic. ---------------------------------- I believe this is just a couple, swimming around in the ocean, after conception of a baby. one of them is swimming around in the ocean on the earth and realizes that "animals" (cells, bacteria) are swimming around in his blood (their own ocean), which is in itself like an ocean on a planet (his body.) Thus its an ocean (blood) on a planet (body) IN an ocean (the atlantic) on a planet (earth). a universe within a universe.
