Guns N' Roses – 14 Years Lyrics 19 years ago
Izzy has a fantastic rock n roll voice, along wiv Duff. They should have just kicked out Axl and sung the dam songs themselves. Izzy held the band together. After he left, no new material, members wanted to leave, Slash left after his solos wer left out of Sympathy for the devil, new guitarist slagged off slash, sorum kicked off, axl sacked him, duff is just great and left, dizzy reed licks axls ass so he stayed. I just think this song along with So fine showed how great gnr were without Axl. I also think this song is about the shit Izzys had to put up with "these last 4 years of madness"...87-91...gnr hittin it big, well done Izzy for pissing on Axls parade, and right at the begining of Axls masterpiece :D

suckass tune. Axl flexing his muysical ego, thinking whatever he likes, his fans will. Id rather have had the album end at you could be mine rather than have the crap dont cry alt lyrics and my world filler. shows how much axl grabbed for power in the band, as he's into industrial (i.e NIN). would hav likes to have seen some of duffs material on instead, instead of it being tossed away by axl, same as slashs snakepit stuff...no nooo, my world is much better

agree with gunnergirl, think its fitting it runs fluidly into coma, a song which i think is a suicide attempt

I always thought it was about Axl (cos who else in the band would it be about) contemplating suicide. "And I don't think I wanna Ever come back to this world again". thought it was inspired by Slash's 'death' from drugs n the likes. Also like the reference to "its so easy" a song about the rock n roll lifestyle. Maybe Axl looking back on the life hes had, the pressures he faces and wanting out. The silent bit in the begining maybe when hes finally found his bliss and peace, then the doctors bringing him back, near the end he re-asses his life. Love this song, best GNR song ever. real epic never tire of listening to it!
