I think its about a girl who's dying in a hospital (the life you have left) and during her teen years she was molested or abused or something(adolesence torn, lovers who have tainted you) and she never told anyone(bent your shoulders to hold the weight of the world) and maybe she got a disease from one of these guys and now she's dying. So she send letters to whoever the storyteller is, and the person telling the story is saying she has to run where you'll be safe... I think safe place might be heaven? Not sure. But this is my FAVORITE song off the new album. |

Oh yeah... and the first time I saw this video, I was like, HOLY GOD! IS THAT WILLIAM FREAKING BECKETT? Then it was like, HOLY GOD, ITS TRAVIS, OMGAH IMA HAVE A SPAZ, then it was Pete Wentz! I was like, ohkay what? On the making of video, he says that he heard this was a movie and when he found out about the song he was just all, I WANNA BE IN THE VIDEO. This is gonna play during the credits, eh? Me and my friends are gonna sing along. And bring a rubber snak in there and try to freak out our other friends. |

I saw a commercial for the movie at like midnight last night... and I heard them playing the song. I FLIPPED OUT. I WAS LIKE, SCREAMING AROUND MY HOUSE WITH PILLOWS AND BLANKETS. I went insane. It was awesome! My friends say that this is starting to play on Much. I'm taking their word for it(I never watch Much, so now I never have any idea if who I'm listening to is mainstream or still underground.) Also, Its coming out in North America on the 18th of August, IE, YESTERDAY, and in Englad the same day and the 24th in Australia. |

I love this song. The video is good, but I can't make out what he's saying to little miss Unbuttoned-Blousewith-a-Black-Bra when he's on his bed. And he isn't girly... just skinny with long hair:)
I first heard about them from a friend on the bus. I stole her iPod and I was all, wow, this is the most gorgeous voice ever(it was Slow Down) and she was all, yeah, too bad everyone in the band is ugly. BUT NO. WILLIAM IS SPECTACULAR. |

THIS IS MY THEME SONG, MAN. MY THEME SONG. William Beckett said it was kinda like a snakes in suits thing, and it wasn't literal snakes it was people who acted like them. EVERYONE is in this song, by the way. Maya from the Sounds, Travis from Gym Class Heroes, William from Academy Is, and in the video, Samuel L Jackson and Pete Wentz both make appearances. |

It's totally a murder. I think it's on the beach, from "Crashing tide can't hide a guilty girl," and he doesn't kill her in the car, I think he kills her on an actual beach. "Chandelier of stars and atmosphere" to me, sounds like the night sky. As in, stars and earth's atmosphere above them like a chandelier. |
