Uhhh, how can Omar Rodriguez-Lopez play guitar for 31 f***ing minutes???? The band is a god itself, and they should have a religon based around them. The "Volta-ites", or, the "Volta's Witnesses". This is an amazing song... and Streetlight Manifesto knows how to make everyone withtin a 5-mile radius skank with glee and happieness. But, this song is eriely similar to Keasbey Nights.... coincidence, perhaps? Maybe Tom just felt that after leaving Catch 22, he needed to make a Streetlight version of Keasbey Nights. So, he caught a bass solo, and changed the lyrics to give the same overall meaning and feel as Keasbey nights, but with a Streetlight Manifesto feel to it and longer. AMAZING song, nonetheless. |
