He definetly says "cheap ass", it doesn't make any sense as "sheeps ass", he's talking about Spiderman, except it's not really spiderman, it's just some dude dressed up as Spiderman ... badly. The guys wearing a cheap Spiderman suit and has Nike shoes on over the top (picture the image in you head) therefore he looks like a "cheap ass". I heard this song about 5-6 years ago and I still use the phrase "nike shoes", among my friends to refer to anything cheap ass looking. |

This songs is a slamming indictment on the chav/ned culture that everyone in Britain knows. I love the song, I especially enjoy the irony that every chav who listens to it will probably believe in they're own minds, that this is sort Ode To Them, a national chav anthem. They're too stupid to understand the whole "trackie bottoms tucked in socks" bit is a sting on them and not applauding them. But thats what the point is not? There's no romance around there, to be one of the "boys in bands", you have to have a bit more to you than a rgular chav, you need a little romance. A chav could not write a love song for instance, music to them is about using for ringtones. Hence, "We'll tell em all tonight, they'll never listen", because you can't get through to these people. Despite the Burberry brand being seen by everyone as the lowest of the low, they will go out of their way to wear those caps and will believe they are on the bleeding edge of fashion. Chavs are a cancer on this nation (UK) that will only grow & spread with their bastard offspring, I grew up with these people and do understand them to a point. This is a good kick at them even though "they'll never listen." |
