For some reason, this is my favourite song on the album, (and considering its one of the best albums I've ever heard, thats a lot to say for me...) even though I hate TV lol. People say the Knife are dark and cold a lot....I don't get that. They're cold, maybe, but in the same way that winter morning is cold. Its a new type of cold, its harsh yet welcoming. Coming to think of it, there's so many contradictory things that can be said about these two. Suffice to mention, they are the greatest band of all time for me |

It does sound like Claudio (what a beautiful sound it is) but there are people who can synth their voices to sound close to him, and there are people who can sing like him. There's a guy (not saying its him, and he's really good) called Ilan Agir, he does a project called We Operate Man (www.myspace.com/weoperateman) who sounds a HELL of a lot like Claudio. It wouldn't be to hard for a self-obsessed fan with the right voice to pass themselves off with this. If it is, its not Claudio at his best. Eh-henyways, this is still a great cover, better than the original by far, but I quite like Midtown's vesion. Nice acoustic work. |

Ok, just to sum up my opinion of whats happened so far discarding all the details everyone already knows. Coheed and Cambria are dead, as we all know. Paris is no longer part of the keywork, and this disaster was beleived to have wiped it clean of life, however Mariah and Jesse's rebellion has survived and is secretly based on Earth, this is the secret. In The first three songs of the album several months have passed since the end of Second Stage, and now the Red Army has intercepted transmisions (The Ring in Return) and now Jesse and his army are forced to lead the attention of the Red Army away to far from Earth so that Mariah is protected. The forces had gathered and were prepared to do battle, and Jesse had intrusted his son, Will, with a lead role in the battle. However, Will knows his father doesn't truelly love him, and is desperate to gain his respect, so arranges with a large portion of the troops to break away from the army and lead a pre-emtive suprise attack. This however almost costs the battle, and Jesse is forced into the battle without full preporation. In the slaughter than ensues, chase is captured and to get her back Jesse must give himself up. At the last minute though, Will steps up to be taken in in disguise for Chase, and his father (creator, whatever you want to say) lets him, and Will is captured. Eventually the battle is more or less one out incredibly by Jesse's forces, and an elite force encluding Jesse and his crew of the Grail Arbour (however its spelt) take the advantage to take the fight strait to the House Atlantic. Meanwhile, after Claudio had fallen asleep on Earth at the end of SSTB he was captured and has been interrogated ever since while having visions of the battle that has taken place, no one in the Red Army and their interrogatory planet has realised Claudio's significance or identity. Will is brought in and heavilly tortured about Jesse's army, Earth, Mariah's rebellion etc, and only gives out false information. He is dismember, and left only half alive in his cell until he and Claudio or thrown in together in the hope that they will give away something to each other. However, Claudio already knows who Will is, and seeing him breaks him out of his near catatonic state. When the whole Army is led away by Jesse's army taking the battle even further from Earth, as Jesse's team slip through towards the House Atlantic, Claudio and Will (now half insane and calling himself Sizer) escape together, and succeed to break out. Or thats how i see the beggining of the album |

I agree with whats been said about this maybe being a Ghost that Cecillia runs into while fleeing. Wayne Andrews then tells Cecillia of his life story and how he can't move on for some reason or another. Over the course of some period he falls in-love with Cecillia, who wishes to help him, and he discovers the Bleam brothers, and the possibility that Cecillia could be killed by them and become a spirit with him. However, realising that she would then never love him, he decides that it is best to leave, and never appear to Cecillia again. ALthough i could be reading alot into that lol |

| I think, in this track, one of the brothers ( i beleive Long-Arm, who has fallen in-love with Cecillia) has found Cecillia in the snow, and is contemplating whether or not to take her to the Blood Machine where Butchie holds one or both her brothers as hostage. In the end, despite beleiving that he is failing in his race for death, and with the threats of his brother (who wants to kill him) ringing in his ears, Long-Arm leaves Cecillia asleep, thinking to himself that his actions can only be right or wrong, and so in time he will find out. | |

I REALL love this song, it's probably my favourite on the album! I think the noises and stuff at the begining and in the middle and all that and the way the lyrics are some what distorted represents the bloody machine running (duh). So yeah, as has been stated, i think this is told from both points of veiws (both the brothers). Long-Arm i think finds Cecillia maybe, and the McCloud twins. He has watched Cecilia for a long time maybe, or maybe simply has feelings for her when he sees her. He considers taking her for the blood machine, but decides against it. Butchie Bleam discovers his brother's weak act and considers killing Long-Arm off ("go run to Mama", the brother's mother may be dead at this point, this would be Butchie damanding that he die). I think the first chorus is Long-Arm praying to his god that he may be aloud to spare Cecilia and simply take the two younger McClouds (" i think these young are spent and have seen their day") |

Alright, thanks mate, yeah i think this song is awesome and Claudio's experiment with My Brother's Blood Machine is really good, even if i prefere the progression in style that Coheed and Cambria are following, though from what i've read seems like alot of folk don't like what he's doing. I'm not so much into pop but then, this is like pop by Claudio Sanchez, he brings his own unique touch to the genre. I had to download the MP3, their MySpace isn't working for everyone, which sucks! |
