I absolutely love this song. FSF is great, so is the earlier DC. I love Conor Oberst, too. I think my favorite is Something Vague. He does put more emotion into his songs, its great. But, this song is bleeding with emotion. It's incredible and so sad, the way Chris screams....it just gets me. |

I think it has great meaning. People try so hard to impress others or to get away from reality that it tears them a part. They dig a grave for themself, their spot in society or their corner where they hide from reality. They cannot leave out of fear, reputation, or even because it has become such a huge part of them. But, inside, they want to break free and be who they really are. A lot of people can probably relate to this song. |

She sucks ass. Rancid and Bright Eyes kick ass. Two different types, oh well. I know they are labeled and put into certain genre's but I don't care. I like songs because of the lyrics, not because they belong to a certain type of music. But they are both real and rock. I don't care what they wear, the fact that their music moves me is what matters. The have this charisma and attitude about them. They don't need promotional shit or videos to reach people. Not many bands are like that, probably because they try to hard to be popular. Screw those people, they are only fooling themselves, and brainwashed children. |

Oh, a friend recently pointed out how Hot Topic is cooporate punk, and it is. But I still like the pins and patches. I seriously wish people would realize what real music is like!! Maybe we don't like nsync because we have good taste in music. I like emo music because the lyrics actually mean something. I cannot think of an nsync song that actaully is real and has a deep meaning in it. I think I am very open minded about music, I listen to a lot of music. I will admit I discard it if it sounds like pop. This is because pop is fake music, it means absolutely nothing, no emotion! It is for nearly the same reason as cheesemanbob, I cannot respect fake music. FSF is real, and that is why i love them. I thought it was funny that they covered a grouo that is almost the opposite as them. The CD is entertaining, Not music wise, but for a good laugh. |

I like these lyrics, but I have yet to hear the song. But that's how I know I will like it, if the lyrics make sense before I hear the song. I think this song is not just stuck to one certain thing. It probably could refer to God and being reborn, or it could be about relationships, or anything really. That is why he is a genius, he does not limit the song to one type of interpretation. He leaves it open so that we can each take it our own way, but with similarities. I like that. This is just my opinion abut it though. Who knows what he really meant, except him (and God). |
