wow, ummm, i have to disagree w/ anyone here who thinks this song is about moms...or that one random person who connected it to anal sex....i really don't think he wants to make love to his mom (incest???) or anyone elses mom for that matter....this song is just about love and romance. the lyrics are all really sweet and romantic. |

I agree w/ a couple people on the first page. About the line "From lashes to ashes, from lust to dust" i think Tangoshoes had a good idea about the meaning. A passionate relationship falling apart. About the song in general, i completely agree w/ Ater, comparing it to romeo and juliet in the sense of forbidden love. For a class assignment, we had to make a soundtrack for our own movie of romeo and juliet, portraying themes. One theme was forbidden love, and this is the song i chose. |

This is an awesome song, prolly the only one that I like by Straylight Run. I was confused about the lyrics at first, but after reading everyones interpretations, the war and media make the most sense. I think Jvenrick has a good idea of what it's all about, and it makes alot of sense. |

This is such an amazing song off an amazing album. I love every song on it, but Time of Dying is my favorite. I think it means that he's dying and waiting for someone to save him. When that person is with him, he feels alive. That person is his one reason to hold on to life. |

I think this song is about a girl who destroyed his life. He ended the relationship but he's still haunted by her memory, and just wants to get rid of it and be free. This song can be related to so many different things, and so many aspects of people's lives, not just relationships. It really speaks to me and is definetly one of my favorites on the album. |
