I haven't read any of the other posts... But I actually think this might be a song about love... "They fall in line, one at a time, ready to play" That line could mean that he's ready to play the game of love "No time to lose, we've got to move, steady at hand" Time is of the essence, in everything, he needs to make his move before the love of his life gets taken. He has to be steady and cautious to make it happen. "Fire your guns, it's time to run, blow me away" The guns could symbolize how the guy talks, its time to make his move now, cause she "blows him away" "After the fall, we'll shake it off, show me the way" He gets rejected by the girl, but he doesn't take it too harshly, he tries again and asks her what she wants in a man. "Only the strongest will survive Lead me to heaven when we die I have a shadow on the wall I'll be the one to save us all" Being the strongest, it could mean his mind is stronger and he has a better chance of winning her over that way. When he "dies" or fails he wants to be lead to a better place (heaven). But he hasn't failed, saying he has a shadow on the wall. He will be the one to "save us all". Us, refering to the relationship. There's nothing left So save your breath Lying in wait He's obviously made a mistake during the relationship and she might've gone to another person. So he can't do anything until he waits for the right moment to get back with her again. Your cover's blown Nowhere to go Holding your fate He basically knows that the girl knows that he likes her. He can't hide it, and if he does something stupid, his fate could be changed (holding your fate) "wanted it back DONT FIGHT ME, GOD" That means he wants everything back to normal. But she keeps fighting with him about god knows what. In the end he could save the relationship because he keeps refering to "save us all". I don't know really... Took me 2 seconds to think up of that meaning lol... If I'm wrong, prove me wrong :P |

No one commented on this song? I really like it. It's probably about a guy in a relationship with a girl. He's too blind to see their failing relationship so he'd "never thought'd he see the day" and after they're relation is split, he is reminded of her. Then he goes into this state of depression: feeling undecided, feeling everything's been taken away and he feels like a little boy, scared and frightened. Then he talks about after you've gotten over the depression, you've learned through the experience. But he still can't get over it. I don't know if thats what it really means but this is how I see it |
