Propagandhi – Ego Fum Papa (I Am the Pope) Lyrics 19 years ago
"Live Like An Angel Die Like A Devil" is the title (and central lyric) of a Venom song from the 1981 album Welcome To Hell.

We all know that Propagandhi are big on early 80s punk, thrash and metal. This is one of several instances on the TETA album where take a popular lyric from those styles, and twist it to give it a new meaning (another example would be the use of "You've got another thing coming" on COINTELPRO, originally from the Judas Priest song).

I think this song basically about how we all end up the same - dead. Heaven or Hell are ultimately irrelevant concepts, and so it's a fallacy to suggest that any one human being can be "superior" or more important than another.

Propagandhi – Letter Of Resignation Lyrics 19 years ago
I think the lyrics for this one speak for themselves.

This was released under the Propagandhi name in 1995 on a split 7" with FYP, but it's essentially just John K Sampson solo. Nobody else appears on it. I prefer this version over the one that Sampson subsequently did with the Weakerthans, simply for the beautiful monologue at the end.

Propagandhi – Rock For Sustainable Capitalism Lyrics 19 years ago
The bit about "the worst sausage party on earth" leads me to think he's referring to the NOFX video 'Leave It Alone'. Boring song, awful band, and the video basically involves NOFX playing at a barbecue, just as an excuse to show a bunch of goofy looking punks and douchebags, with the implication that the viewer should find that cool, instead of the lamest thing on the planet.
