Wow. This is the least original song I've ever heard. Half the lines in it come from other songs.... some examples...
"I've got money in the bank-" what Fergie said in Fergalicious.
"Back to the crib, show you how I live-" I don't remember where this line came from, but it sounds familiar.
And I can't forget "Konvict music"- We've all heard this one multiple times from Akon.
Usually I'm not a hater, but this is just a pathetic excuse for a song. |

Ok so this song isn't Avril's best, obviously. But I think she's just trying to show her light, happy side. I mean, she's had a lot of serious and sad songs in the past (Nobody's Home, Keep Holding On, ect) and in Girlfriend she's just trying to have a little fun with her music. People shouldn't keep bashing her for it. |

Before I saw the video, I thought this song was about a guy who broke up with his girlfriend. Now I'm not so sure. But anyway, whatever the meaning, I like the song and the way the lyrics relate to each other, if that makes any sense... Points for Rascal Flatts for making me like a country song. I usually can't stand country. |

The first few times I heard this song I didn't pay much attention to it. I liked it a little cuz the chorus was fun to sing and it constantly got stuck in my brain. Then somehow I fell in love with the song and really listened to the words. Either way, I like it. The song is fun and meaninful at the same time. |

I don't really like this song... the lyrics are okay, but James' voice is weird and soft and I don't know, there's just something about him I don't like. I never listened to the lyrics to this song before now. All I noticed was the part that said Chelsea, so I decided the look the song up and see what it was about.
Basically it's about a girl who dumps her bf after he cheats on her with some b****. Funny song, IMO. |

This is an awesome song and I love it. It's obviously about cheating. I think the girl cheated on the guy first, so he cheated on her to get revenge, where it says, "and what you did to me I did to you."
But the nose part at the beggening of the song is screwed up. |

Wow, a lot of people commented on this one. I think this song is about a guy getting married and finding out that his bride-to-be is different than he thought. (a whore) Other than that, it's hard to say what this song means. I used to like it but I got tired of it pretty quickly... I guess that's how it is. |
