I will say no matter what the band wrote it my personal interpretation is different. heh and no I am not a christian enthusiast. The song sounds like someone has died. Or the feelings you go through when you lose someone close to you like a family member. STFU all you melodramtic emo kids who are attracted to death lyrics when you breakup with your girlfriend/boyfriend. The beauty of the song is genious. My thoughts are that or a similar theme but moving with those looking back at their families. |

This song can have many meanings. The band probaly wanted it that way. "The bomb" can be several things. I do think the song is giving the message that all lies come undone eventually. My song ends with this(and then the slow part): "Well yeah a change in character is great And if it's what you need to say It's probably what I need to hear" If you need to say something, say it, don't lie. |

| Lots of good ideas here. I think this song is him exploring the simple idea that life will still go on without him. Go lay down, the world is still moving if your there and killyourself nothing will happen until your noticed. then a week or two goes bye and things are back to normal. With the story the girl probaly stayed with the guy she was with or found a new one, depending on how you view the story. | |

To me it seems this has some meaning with the story, but It really works before the story. The song starts he is a wreck. He wants to see the girl he is in love with, possibly just broke up with or has another guy or something. People are trying to convince him to move on. Stop thinking about her. "Why do you give a shit" either refering to him asking the people why they care about his relationship with her. Or what did he say that made her take intrest? It seems like the storm before Car Underwater. |
