| Boys Like Girls – The Great Escape Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The songs really self explanitory, but I just gotta say that the first verse just prevents me from liking it. I even seen this being performed live and I still hated it. The fact that it says "Let's get drunk and drive around" just bugs me 'cause a lot people died from it. A lot of people lost their children to it. And the fact that they are putting it just as a way to escape is just bull. I'm expecting a lot of hate replys, but nothing could change my opinion. No doubt GLB are a talented band, but some things just shouldn't be said. |

What? No comments for this wonderful song yet? Well, I will just fix that. I love this song. The lyrics are just inspiring to me and so powerful.(Which is kind of odd since I listen to a lot of hardcore.) The video is just as good and I have a feeling that it'll be extremly popular. Great job Ludacris & Mary J. Blige. |

| Evanescence – Call Me When You're Sober Lyrics | 19 years ago |

I would like to start off by saying I really love this song. When I first heard the song on mtv, I was a little surprised. I had missed the first few seconds when they name the artist and song title so I wasn't sure if it was evanescence or not. It sounded like Amy and sorta looked like Amy but the style was like O.o. It's not the fact that the lyrics are straight forward that bugs me, but the fact that is has a sort of a "bluesy" sound. Though I'm a fan of R&B, the sound doesn't seem the match Evanescence. But never-the-less I still favour this song. And yes, it does kind of sound like "Fighter" by Christina Aguilara. xD |

I love this song. I think it's about a mother who is suffering from some type of fatal illness. (I'm guessing brain cancer because the song states "her headaches are constant increasing in pain.") And even though most people believe that God had did her wrong, she still prays and thanks Him for everything He had given her. But she still dies. Her son is furious at first because she was dedicated to God, and yet she still passed. But then he realizes that his mother's death was for the best because she was put out of her suffering. But, that's only what I think. |
