perhaps this song follows on from another which would explain why it starts with "and" or maybe hes just a spaz.... either way its weird i agree 100% there... its a good song tho. to me it seems like hes been with the girl he wanted but he didnt really do anything to make her realise that he loves her and now shes gone and hes so alone and he misses her and all that stuff. its about the regret you have after a breakup with someone you cared about

christ another song that my sort of bf dedicates to me... he said he wants to be there to hold my hand when i die and that he hopes its not for ages so we can be together for a full life and then for eternity after we're gone. its tru tho... if the one i loved died id go with them so they wouldnt be alone. nothing worse than being alone.

wow i have no idea what tiny vessels is but im going to assume its another death cab song... to me all i thnk about when i hear this song is a guy who wakes up the next morning after a night out and realises hes with a girl hes not meant to be with and leaves a note to dump her or whatever and that shes a little sad over it but that "someday she will be loved" and that hes not her soulmate and all that jazz. but thats just my interpretation of it.

oh man i heard this song on ten things i hate about you... i absolutely love it. it reminds me of my sort of bf who lives to far away to be my actuall boyfriend and he thinks im better than him and tells me that hes not worth my time... but he doesnt see how much i love him.

christ almighty theres a lot of anti emos out there!! im a punk myself with a touch of emo music influence and OMG i love this song i swear the first time i heard it i put it on repeat for about an hour and cried the entire way through. this song sort of influenced my creative writing assignment for english in the sense that it was set in a hospital and really depressing and i got an excellence for it which is the highest mark you can get LOVE THIS SONG

man i heard this song on the final of The Days which was my favourtie tv show before it got cancelled... COOPER DAY WAS SO HOT!! na umm yea this song... i recorded it on my cellphone and did this thing that my phone company has where you ring a number and hold it to the song and it txts u the name of the song and the artist.... so i did that and found it online and downloaded it. i also videotaped the last episode of the days and watched it so many times just for this song that the videotape broke and i cried like a little baby. but yea this song is amazing and even though im not too sure of the hidden message... i think its just about being yourself and all that which fits really well with The Days cos Cooper was a bit of an outcast because he was himself and didnt care about other people... the line "what is beautiful" really hits a note with me because my older sister is a model so for me being called hot is superficial and being called beautiful is the sweetest thing to say. my sort of bf called me an angel and i cryed so much. im a very emotional sort of person

man i think you guys read to much into songs and fully over analyse things. Those people who badmouth other peoples opinions... WHO CARES MAN this is about what a song means to you there really is no right or wrong answer its just how it makes you feel really. to me it just makes me sad cos i hadnt heard it for many years... the other day my friend and i had a party and i almost cheated on the love of my life.... the next day this was the first song we heard and i just felt so guilty... because he sees me as an angel. but in my defence he lives about 3 hours drive away and we arent even dating... its just an emotional thing really.. but still i felt guilty. powerful song.
