I think this is one of the 'we intertwined' narrator's dreams - his searching each of his dreams for the girl thats left him. Maybe when they were together in life she enjoyed the circus, so it is natural for him to look for her there in his dreams. |

This is about the narrator from 'we intertwined' calling out to the narrator of 'a dark congregation' who has left him, so he can only see her in his dreams. He is searching for memories of her in his mind, so he is 'outside looking in' at past experiences with her. Maybe the 'everyone makes mistake' line is his way of forgiving her for leaving him (she feels guilty in 'a dark congregation') and begging for her to come back. Because he is no longer with her in real life, he spends his time dreaming of her and cursing the morning, when he must wake up ('light comes through the clouds and haunts me like bad dreams') |

I believe that the narrator of this is the same girl that the narrator of 'we intertwined' dreams of. I do not think the person she is singing of (the male narrator of the other songs on the album) literally died, but metaphorically died to the world when she left him. Perhaps now that she left him she feels guilty for in a sense killing him (he no longer really lives his life, but rather sleeps to dream of her). Although they are no longer together, she does not wish to forget the love they had, nor will he cease to remember their relationship in his dreams('we will not let time erase us.') |

When he is with her he can 'taste' life (feel alive), so he is very disappointed when he wakes up and feels alone. He goes on to resolve that he'll be 'sleeping in' and 'frantically searching for her' in his dreams. This sets the stage for the narrators future role in the albums other songs. |
