| Chevelle – Tug-O-War Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| raped can be a term for being degraded or assaulted, as any negative emotion can do to you. | |
| Ramones – Judy Is a Punk Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
One punk, one poser out to do something to define themselves as women with a risk of death. That's all I get out of it. It's fun to do the can-can to. By the way, that little 11 year that was bashing the whole coca-cola thing, not even old enough to drink- get the fuck over yourself. Bastard. |

| Drowning Pool – Tear Away Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| I think this song is either written in first person as somebody else (Not the song writer.) or written as the song writer with a sarcastic tone, as if somebody said it about them, and they're just saying, "Yeah, ok, I don't care about anyone else but me, you're right." | |
| Filter – American Cliché Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
'Get on the bus' was the most common line I found. This song reminds me of the African American civil rights movements, as halberd25 said. The whole 'bus' thing would probably relate to rosa parks. The lyrics are wrong, however, when it says "This is a american cliche" 'A' should indeed be 'OUR'. In "Get onto the bus" It's just "Get on the bus". It could be either a shallow or deep interpretation. |

| Circa Survive – In Fear and Faith Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
People have tendencies to get depressed in the winter because of the positioning of the sun. The most extreme diagnosis for this is 'Seasonal Affective Disorder'. That's why there's so many different negative lines in this song, I think. "this heart is already frozen" Reminds me of the numbness you feel after somebody hurts you so much. You force yourself to feel nothing- It has both positive and negative effects, one of the negative ones being not being able to feel emotion at all. I liked drmmrgrl's logic. Great song. First one I've heard from Circa Survive. |

| I don't think there's a deeper meaning to this song rather than the guys in love... and somehow he can't get her fully. | |

" by mabir on 12-02-2004 @ 10:58:56 PM This song is about a stereo " Oh yeah? And as for "Davin Bacon", listening to one song by a band a judging the band is absolutely disgusting, you're probably republican and I have no respect for you at all. I like onegrrlprideparade's interpretation. |

| A Perfect Circle – Pet Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Everyone keeps saying this is about George Bush, but in my opinion it's timeless... It can be about ignorance, political, in-denial state of mind... Ignorance at all. More specifically, it's written about war, and the ignorance that conservatives and many pro-war goobers have. The destruction, the "rabble". The sleep is the unawareness. It's a lull to be swallowed by it. It's meant a lot to me, anyway, in many different aspects of my life, despite it's many 'unique' interpretations. |
