ACTUALLY the song is titled "pincushion", "black in the eye" was a song by the band aspera ad astra from the same singles compilation. it may have been mislabeled at one point, but this song is DEFINITELY called "pincushion". |

"dragged you out into the streets before you buckled at the knees and said 'What's it feel like to be a ghost?'" could still mean adam is saying "what's it feel like to be a ghost," because the "i" is implied at the beginning of the whole sentence.
as in "(I) dragged you out into the streets before you buckled at the knees, and (I) said "what's it feel like to be a ghost?"
just thought i'd share.
also it doesn't really seem like his style to start shit with other bands, just continue it. |
