amazing song. i love how the music is structured to reflect lyrics (or vice-versa).
although this song could have many metaphoric meanings, depending on your interpretation, i think it is quite a literal song. the lyrics describe the affects of heroin perfectly, and if it was meant to be a metaphor i don't think they would have made the instrumental part match the words so well. |

I agree with deathbysexiest, I think it's came to "bait" me, not beat me. I've heard this original version of Distortions and a cover by Chris Walla, it's a lot easier to understand what he says but both songs are equally good. I think if you listen to both you can get a clearer message of what the song is trying to say. |
