This is a song to help her through her divorce. It's what everybody feels/or should feel when they break-up with someone. She is just letting him know that it doesn't matter anymore she is ready for whatever life brings her. I'm sure "rockstar" is just her way of saying "Hey I still rock and I'll show you" And the nananana part does sound childish but I think it's suppose to be that way. Like "nanana I'm still ok" Oh yeah it does sound like drumboy And the people who are saying Pink sucks and what not. Just shut the hell up because people who actually like Pink don't want to be bothered with you. |

I think in the lyrics he is in the war and telling about all that he has seen and about the war scenes. In the chorus though I think he is thinking about a girlfriend never saying she loved him before he left for war. " I think here he is thinking about maybe their last moment together and how she still never told him that she loved him. In the end I think the moral is tell someone you love them before it's too late. I might be wrong but I like to think of it that way, it's more romantic. |

A few years ago I remember hearing it and it just stuck with me. So I had to find out who it was right away. It's just a song everyone can relate to I think, being a girlfriend/boyfriend/best friends/family. It's about how someone can go out into the world and becoming someone you never were, a changed person. He's telling the story how a friend went out to the world and changed and he wonders if he is enough for now. Because now she is more sophisticatic (sp?) and probably more mature. " "Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance five-hour phone conversation The best soy latte that you ever had . . . and me " in that I think he is asking her if she could ever imagine life without their friendship. I've been reading through all the comments and I'm pretty disappointed. It's easy to say you love a band and then trash it because it's not what you want. But to actually listen and try to understand a band takes patience and real love for band which none of you have . They don't only put out music for us but for themselves too. These lyrics are part of their lives. I'd like to see you all say everything to this bands face. You'd all probably say you're their biggest fans. Psh yeah right. All I'm saying is if you don't like a band then fine, don't come here and trash them because there are still people who love them. Back to the song. But he realizes that he really loves her and he can't live without her. And in the end she realizes his made a mistake but he can't stop loving him even if he misused her. Over all this song is full of sex, lies and most likely drugs. But is one hell of a song. Really unique and the way Brendon sings is just amazing.
