I think that this song is about drugs (obviously) and him feeling the need to face reality head-on without using drugs to numb him. He wants to be able to live his life - "Come to believe that I better not leave, Before I get my chance to ride." I also think that this song is about society as a whole, and our tendencies to cover up what is going on in our lives, by lying to both ourselves and others. we all want our lives to be white as snow - but often we find ourselves using it to cover our dirt. |
