I love this song. It's about growing up, and learning as ypu go on with life. "Oh, do you wonder where it starts Where it ends What you find around the bend" This is about the innocence and curiosity when your young. "So 'til the morning breaks go and make your mistakes Don't be surprised at the sunrise" When you're young, you can make mistakes and learn from them. The sunrise symbolizes a new beginning into adulthood. You can make mistakes, but don't let adulthood sneak up on you when you can no longer those same mistakes. Great song to listen to when you feel like being alone for a little while just to think, or just to be alone. It makes you want to close your eyes, block eveything else off, make any distractions dissappear and just listen. Listen to the way her voice changes when she goes from verse to chorus or vise-versa. Listen to the way she belts "Oh" s owell it makes you wonder what inspired her, and you really feel like she's singing it TO you. give it a chance. You won't regret it. |

"I loved you, and I should've said it But tell me just what has it ever meant" Every single time I hear this (which is quite often), I am overcome with an emotion that seems hard to place. I always get the chills. I know it's coming, I brace myself, and it comes every time. The person is saying that he truly was in love, but it wouldn't have made any difference if he had said it or not. "I can't help it baby, this is who I am Sorry but I can't just go turn off how I feel" He knows it's over, and he wants to accept it, but it is too much to take. He feels so betrayed, and even though he knows nothing could have stooped the inevitable, he wants to believe he could have prevented it, and he tearing himself up because of it. Amazing song. I can't help but sing along, even though some (including my best friend) find it depressing. It was on the "One Tree Hill" soundtrack. If you think it's a teen drama wth no potential, you have a right to your own opinion, but check out the CDs They are worth-while. As an added bonus, the second CD is a benefit album, so a portion of the proceeds go to Breast Cancer research. Support the cause, and hear some incredible music.
