Theres a book called 'The Opposite of Chocolate' and the author makes a reference to the song. One of the characters is thinking of his mother who ran off with an other man when he was younger because she wanted to experiance more. He wonders if shes happy now and that did she ever think of him? It fits pretty well attually. |

The rap was made up in about 10 minutes so I don't think it means anything. 'Fab Five Freddy' was Debbie Harry and her boyfriends friend who introduced them to the 'rap' scene and he graffitied subway trains in New York which I sapose has something to do with 'paint a train' and 'Flash' was a dj they knew. I hate the rap in the song! |
