I really like this song. like blink said in the album booklet, it is about a girl who enters a bar, and a guy really wants her, as soon as he laid eyes on her, he desires her. i find this song has very deep lyrics, like in the first verse, when Tom says; "You speak and make time still, and each time you walk right on by..." also the second verse has some pretty deep lyrics too, and i love at the last line of the second verse when you hear Mark sorta repeats, what Tom said, the way he says it, when he says "Fall asleep" it's so calming i find. the best part of the song for me is definitely the interlude, the middle of the song. wow, the soft guitar that plays in the background, it's so calming, it makes you feel as if time has stopped and everything is in slow motion. what's also really cool about it is what Mark says very quietly in the background; "Who'll stand by your side? So watch my eyes. Watch 'em turn while you go change. Curtains down. When all their skill was cut, and I bled. There were forces of John Jones. I can't make you happy. It seems all I ever do is try. You could never cut me deep enough to leave a scar. So take this gift. It's something to save". pretty good song ' |

i love this song! i really love the first verse, 'you and i should get away for awhile, i just want to be alone with your smile, buy some candy and cigarettes and we'll get in my car, we'll blast the stereo and drive to madagascar!' those lines are incredible, they are so happy sounding, and sweet. this is one of my favorite songs as well. |

This song is amazing. I think that I already posted about this song a long time ago, but I'll post again :) This song is truly great, it is very well written and the melody is incredible. What really makes someone stop and think, well for me, what really moves me is right after the first verse and the second verse, the clean guitar parts before the choruses. There's just something about those parts of the melody that really moves me. it just makes you stop and think, it also gives you a sad feeling. Also, the drumming in this song is excellent, especially during the verses. The intro guitar part which plays 2 times in the song is what gives you an initial feeling when you frst listen to the song that it's obviously not a joke song, or a light song, it's a quite serious song. What I also find amazing about this song is how throughout the first 2 verses and the first 2 choruses the melody and lyrics are very sad but the instrumental break is the reflection part, when the piano comes in, and if you listen carefully to the bass, the message of this instrumental part is very important I find, the melody is changing to sound more happier, a better word for it; more hopeful, it is reassuring. Then of course, the last chorus, the lyrics are very different from the other two previous choruses; 'I never conquered, rarely came Tomorrow just holds such better days Days when I can still feel alive When I cant wait to get outside The world is wide, the time goes by The tour is over, I survived I can't wait 'til I get home To pass the time in my room alone' The world is wide, the time goes by; I find that this line is amazing, because when we stop and think about it, whatever hard situations or things from the past that we went through,or going through presently, we realize that over time things change, our feelings change, things do get better and change. Even if it's a silly thing such as a bad school day, stop and think of this line; The world is wide the time goes by. When you stop and think about that line, it helps, because it is true. "The world is wide" makes you realize how big the world really is; endless possibilities. As the line, 'Tomorrow holds such better days' there is a light at the end of the tunnel, tomorrow will be better, today maybe isn't great, but tomorrow will be better day. The last chorus is the main message of this song, and if you listen carefully when Mark says 'And I can't wait, til' I get home, to pass the time in my room alone' and if you look carefully in the video, he sounds happy, and you can see him smile when he says that if you look carefully in the music video, and he is looking up. That last line means that now everything is good, and okay,things got better. Also before when he says, "The tour is over, I survived" what that means is that you can look at it in 2 ways, 1. it can be from Mark, Tom and Travis's point of view while they were lonely on tour, and finally the tour is over, they survived it and things are going well, they are happy to be back home. 2.The other way to look at this line is to apply it to your own life, if for instance you were going through a hard time, or a tough semester at school, or going through a hard and bad day, anything hard really, after it's over, you've survived it, and that you feel happy that it's over and you think back how you survived what you went through. This is definitely one of my favorite songs of all time, it really makes you think and feel. This song shows how talented this band really is/was. Blink-182 is my favorite band of all, because of songs like this and how they also write really happy songs as well, and their lyrics are easy to relate to. This is an example of a song where anyone could relate to it. It's also the type of song that really helps out when you're feeling sad, or going through something tough. Also, I almost forgot to mention, the title of the song comes from a sketch from Mr. Show with Bob and David, in which a young fan of the band Titannica (named Adam) tries to kill himself after listening to their songs. The band invites him on tour with them, but they soon find out that his body is now hideously deformed. They created the song called "Adam's Song" which encourages him to "try again. |

| My favorite parts of this song, is the first part, the melancholy melody at first, and i absolutely love the ending melody, the doo woop ballad, which is sorta happy sounding, but at the same time, it's kinda sad. im not too much into the middle part (mother superioir), but i loveee the part right after. overall its a pretty good song. i also love the version on across the universe. this song goes all over the place when it comes to the melody, but then again, thats what makes it unique and so good. this song can have multiple meanings, in fact, it does have multiple meanings. overall great song, its a type of song that has many feelings to it. | |

| This song is beautiful, it has so much emotion to it. By far, this is the best version I have heard. The guitar is just so amazingly played, and his voice has so much emotion. What I also love about this song is how it only has one intrument being played. All I can say is wow, this song is a must hear. If you haven't heard this song yet, this version of it, you have to hear it. it's such a beautiful song, so many emotions to it. I can't even explain in words how beautiful this song is! The Rufus Wainwright version is good too, but the Jeff Buckley version is much more beautiful, and has a lot more emotion to it. | |

This is a great song. What I like about it is how it's a positive song. there are a lot of bands or songs out there that don't have a positive feeling to it. This is a really nice song, it makes you feel good, it moves you. The melody, the lyrics; wonderful. What I like about Blink 182, and Angels and Airwaves, is that most of the songs they create/created give you a positive feeling, they put you in a happy mood. The songs cheer you up if you are not all that happy, and when you're in a good mood, they make you get in a even better mood! The Adventure is really a great song, like I mentioned, the positive feelings you feel, it's also a song that reminds you that everyday is a new day. |

This song has many feelings to it, it's the type of song that makes you think, like blink said; it's the type of song that moves people. It is a sad song, but it's also a song that makes you feel hope, or positive feelings. Especially towards the interlude, and after that that. Notice how the piano comes in during the interlude, and how the song changes pitch from sad sounding to happy/hope sounding. This is just an amazing song. It's a remix between dahsboard and brand new, simply amazing. I find that this song brings so much emotion, all kinds of emotions to it. The lyrics are from 2 different song, but combine well, from my point of view this song is about love...someone getting hurt in love, getting a broken heart, and the person that hurt them is cheating on them and left them. "Your hair, it's everywhere. Screaming infidelities And taking its wear." Amazing part, this is the part of the song that makes me feel so much emotion. Even in the original version with only Dashboard, brings me emotion. Just an amazing song. |
