yeah, the rain and sun are 'letting go' and when they do this they help the daisy... oh and the 'open up your fists' means to let go of your grudges i think the song altogether is saying the world sucks, but you can't let it get to you...you don't have to be apart of it.......that didn't make much sense... so..letting go of grudges call help people....i guess |

great song. it COULD be to his fans as fastfingerz said, but i doubt it because he talks about this individual's eyes. he can't be talking about all of us... the only part of this song that i'm not too crazy about is when he says "So excuse me forgetting but these things I do You see I've forgotten if they're green or they're blue" is that because he only remember his eyes are beautiful? or what? oh..and someone had said how the song is ruined when they realize elton is singing to a guy and how it would have been better if elton was singing to a girl...but i think the only reason why he/she said that is because you can't relate to it as well. and i do agree, i can't relate to it AS well either. the best songs are the ones i can relate to the best. and for those who are pro-gay and want to chase after me with torches and pitchforks, i'm not a gay hater... |
