| Peaches – Boys Wanna Be Her Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is about her and her big personality. She commands the stage like a man. She is a tough woman, and she loves that she doesn't have to fit the restrictions of what a woman is. Probably her best song besides the infamous FTPA. | |

I have to agree with lilli. Its the first dance song that Trent released in a long time, and it feels like a sexual encounter from his point of view. "I don't know where I end, And where you begin" That line right there shows the melding of bodies while the rest of it shows him wanting to be the submitting partner during sexual play. It was time for another less depressing song about sex from Mr. Reznor. |

| Its not talking about a "downward spiral" its talking about an onward and upward spiral. That is why he is saying "Spiral out Keep going". He wants to "ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been". It is the concept that the song was written by and that many people have already acknowledged, the Fibonacci sequence. | |

I have a live version of this song from 1996 and right before they play H Maynard says this: So uh, have any you ever watched those Warner Brothers cartoons? Sometimes there's that one where the guy 's having a tough time making a decision. He's got an angel on one shoulder, a devil on the other. It seems pretty obvious, right? Usually the angel 's the one that's kinda giving the good advice, and the devil is the one trying to get him to do what is going to be bad for him. Its not always that simple though. Most times their not angels or devils, their just friends giving you advice looking out for your best interest but not really understanding whats gonna be best for you, so it kinda comes down to you, and you have to make the decision yourself. This song 's called H." |

This is directly from Maynard's own mouth at a concert in 1996. I have a bootleg copy, and this is what he says about that song right before the song: "Ever heard of Jesus or Buddha? Or Krishna? Or Mohammed? Any of those guys? They had some pretty good ideas. Then their agents started trying to make some money on them and fucked everything up. Never trust an agent. This song is about those agents." [Then Opiate is played] Hope this brings a little clarity about what he was thinking about when he wrote it. |
