the lyrics definitely are comforting and encouraging. they sort of make you see that you should trust what your heart tells you. also you dont necessarily need anyone else to help you make important decisions so dont feel upset if you dont really have anyone to look up to. "trust the voice within" my fave line is "young girl dont hide you'll never change if you just run away" that is telling you that you need to face up to things any problems you may be experiencing even if you dont see how you can. by doing that you will grow as a person |

this song is really beautiful. i agree with the comments made already. he didnt think that it was going to become serious with this girl, but he has completely fallen for her. this feeling scares him because he didnt intend to feel like that. the line "this could be nothing but im willing to give it a try" shows that even though he knows that it may not last forever and although he didnt mean or want to fall in love with her, he cant let his opportunity to be happy paass him by. |

really excellent song i think. she is saying that there are lots of different sides to a woman. there are all different moods that there is no telling what mood she will be in and when. but she is saying to this guy i cannot change im always going to be a mixture of all these things and you will just need to accept me like that. i like the bit that says "so take me as i am this may mean you'll have to be a stronger man."

this song is completely amazing. i cannot believe the emotion within it and how emotional it makes me feel each and every time i hear it. it is quite sad but gives you a glimmer of hope kind of at the same time. i've read all the comments and i agree that the lyrics definitely fit with the idea that chris wrote this for gwyneth after her dad dies and that is a truly beautiful thing. i also think though it could fit for anyone who has lost someone close to them through any circumstance or could also be just someone saying that they will be there for you forever no matter what happens. i like song that although the writer may have written for a particular reason or in a particular circumstance the lyrics are vague enough to a degree that you can like detract your own personal meaning which reflects something in your own life. anyway coldplay are a wonderful band this is an amazingly powerful and emotional song and i luv the video so much, especially when the crowd join in singing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

yeah. the song is really good. i think it means that a lot of the time when you are not with someone in a relationship or not in love, you feel lonely, well he does anyway. and perhaps when he's saying "people in love get everything wrong" etc that is sort of symbolising that when you are in love its not perfect like in a relationship there are some bad things that come along with the good but even taking this fact into consideration its still better than not being with someone you love. |

i really do love the emotion in this song. i've only recently started listening to metallica so really i've obviously the main ones i've heard have been their most popular ones. and i now appreciate that metallica are an amazing band. i know many of you have said that they are not as good now or whatever but to me its never too late to appreciate great music, even if their best or most successful period is over. i do intend on becoming aquanted with more than just the bands well known songs. |

i luv this song so much. the lyrics are simple but yet so meaningful. the meaning is about two young people who love one another but are too young to live together and they just have the desire to be older so they couldd be together in every way. i think though i like to think of it as more of a vague meaning than it just being that you are to young to be with the person you want to be with it could be that theres another reason that you cannot be together or just the fact that you are not together properly yet but both want to be. obviously the line " wouldnt it be nice if we were older" shows the song is in fact about well wanting to be older but anyway..... |

lol. i didnt know what it meant either, well i didnt before i heard this song i understood the meaning of it from the context. its a fantastic song i love it. i also luv the line "remember cuddles in the kitchen" and i luv that it conveys the reality of a relationship when you are in an arument. im a girl but the song is true i must admit it made me realise that sometimes girls probably do moan about nothing really. |

i really luv this song!!!!!!!!
to me it means that the person is in new relationship and at the start of any relationship you are filled with hope that you will stay together and everything will be good between them. but it also conveys the flip side that at the same time as being full of hope you are also filled with doubt, theres always that chance that things may not work out and it can be worrying. i think its a great tune and sums up how people feel at the prospect of becoming involved with a new partner. |
