i heard this song during a really lame time in my life. and i hadnt really payed attention to it before, but at this stage it meant sense. basically the girl i really liked, ended up with my best mate, after she had told me she wasnt interested in a relationship, and he was the dude i could talk to about anything. they had both been really rad friends, but after i heard the news i felt abandoned by both of them. lame i know, but its what it meant to me |

ok, imFLiPPiNroyalty in relation to your question, the way i see it he doesnt want to admit that cares so much about her, maybe in front of his mates, maybe it would scare her, i dunno, its just how i interpretted it. its a great song, which tells a good story which im sure alot of us could relate to. i reckon the end is great how he just seems to realise that he actually loves the girl.
