Well... I made a very different interpretation of the song... at first, like most of you here - it was about the "special someone" he finally found and would love to love... but then it got me thinking... "You could be my unintended Choice" - someone he didn't expect to fall in love with? "First there was the one who challenged All my dreams and all my balance She could never be as good as you" - There was someone before... "She" could never be as good as "you" --- could it be that he has fallen in love with a guy now? He never ever thought that he could fall for a guy (unintended) however, he did.... maybe, that "great woman" "who challenged All my dreams and all my balance" was his former lover... or maybe the reference to "she" is a general reference to females...maybe he prefers males over females... well - that was a wierd interpretation... however, that's how I see it now... |
