jesus fucking christ. i'm sick of hearing you stupid people comparing this to a rose for emily. if you actually read both, take in the idea that this is A CONCEPT ALBUM!!! and by read, i mean reallly read it. you can tell that it is only coincidence. this song is not based off of a rose for emily. yes, a few things are similar, but songs usually (and this one does) use symbolism. good songs usually use alot of it. go to page 2 i believe, and read the english classic or w/e person's explantation. it is right. i feel i need to repeat this again... this song is NOT a tribute to a rose for emily. if you want a song based off a book check out panic at the disco's time to dance. its based off inivisible monsters. (which is an amazing book) so yeah. go back and read that if you want an accurate explanation... |

i don't see why this dissappoints other fans. the curse, and suicide notes both sound different. it gives more of a variaty to their music. you can hear how they've gotten better in this song, the sound is alot cleaner, and his voice is better. if it disappoints you, you are not a true fan. i love ALL of their stuff, not just the old, and not just the new. they haven't gone soft, and they haven't sold out. get over it. |

people keep calling the "purse of a diff. kind" the drugs. but take into account the line after it. "And held a "purse" of a different kind Along with the people inside" i think that means the purse is the 'little black book' or w/e of her clients (the people inside). i'm not gonna go back thru ten pages to see if anyone else said the same. so yeah. thats what i think... |
