This song is brilliant. Annie has such a unique, lovely voice. Question though: Isn't it young instead of alone? That's what I hear. I may be wrong though... Anyway, love the song. Looking forward to hearing more from Annie! |

I think he realizes that he is destined for a different way of life than the norm and thus knows he must take a different road to 'see him through.' this is a great lyrical work...as sk84urlife commented, the meaning is pretty obvious, although it's all a matter of what you apply it to. there is just an honesty about this song that is startingly beautiful even though it is so hopeless. i love it. |
