Imogen herself said the death of someone close to her inspired her to write this song. Its about how people aroudn you act when something bad happens, someone dies. How other people respond. Also she said someone of it is how President Bush responded to the 9/11 attacks and what a w****r he was about it, To quote her. "George Bush being told and him completeley carrying on as if nothing had happened. And I just thought that was outrageous, if I was the president I would run out of their and fucking get onto the TV and say something amazing, and he wasn’t even reading his book and he had it upside down. I think this song is about her falling in love with someone who she didnt really want to. Like a fling or something. Personally i dont think this song is about religion, but it's related. I think its about Love and Life. Some people treat love as their faith and live their life by love. I think she's trying to find some insight into life.
