nailed it -- without being a wentz blog investigator... your head = a prison conjugal visit = sex your head is a prison + conjugal visit = blow job... i thought that was pretty clear... this song has to be about groupies -- FOB has done it before with the song XO. "i'll always be waiting in the back room -- i'm boring -- but i'll overcompensate with headlines and flash photography" come on -- that's clear as day. he's saying to a chick that he's boring but he'll make up for his shortcoming's cuz he's a rock star. obvious. as far as the invisible monsters reference -- this has to be WRONG. wentz signed panic! at the disco -- he's too original to straight rip off their song (as creative as it was). i've read the book -- this doesn't seem to reference it. if you want an example of FOB trying to emulate p!atd, look to the song "you're crashing, but you're no wave" where wentz tells a story complete with setting. now that's flattery in the highest form. praise me now. |

how creepy/disheartening does it have to be to be sitting in jail knowing what you did, and that lacey wrote part of a song from your point of view that dude will never "get out from the guilt that will crush him" sucks -- don't drink and drive |

the guy lived, he's in jail -- gonna be sentenced soon i'm pretty sure. the story behind this song really makes it a lot better, even though the bridge about the sad messiah is probably the coolest sounding shit ever -- and i wish more of the song was like that. japes i saw your earlier post and agreed, that's gotta be it -- it's kinda upsetting jesse will never come out and just straight up say what his songs mean... but i guess that's why they're pretty much the best |

after reading the story of kate's death and watching the limo crash video, this is my perspective on the 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 loved you so much, but do me a favor baby don't reply it has to be from the point of view of the devil. he's talking to the seven deadly sins, which he obviously loves. however, after kate's tragic death he actually feels remorse. that is why he says he can dish it out, but can't take it. look at the underlines at the end: the devil never "has to be down to earth" (actually feel the feelings he inflicts) never "has to live together on this piece of dirt" (live on the earth with the sins he invokes) doesn't have to "find his baby in the crowd" (search for his decapitated daughter's head) and the devil "should be laughing right now", but instead he feels remorse for the unrightful death. just a thought |
