I agree with all of you, this song is amazing. It was the second X song I heard (Orgasm being the first), and I was hooked from that time on.
I also managed to go to the Hide Museum two times before it closed last year. I don't know if any of you are guitar players/know about X's equipment, but I saw the guitar that he used when recording this song...It was the Mockingbird that he had handpainted. THAT was amazing. Evertime I hear that chord ring before Yoshiki rattles the cymbols after Toshi's vocal opening I think of that guitar. Sucks the Museum couldn't afford to stay open. |
